YSU Beta Gamma Sigma earns top recognition on Honor Roll

Youngstown State University’s business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, has earned Highest Honors on the Beta Gamma Sigma International Collegiate Chapter Honor Roll. The YSU chapter earned the recognition based on the high acceptance rate of invitees. Only the top 10 percent of juniors and seniors and the top 20 percent of the MBA students are invited to join. During 2014-15, the YSU BGS Chapter inducted 52 new members.

Business college holds information session on MBA

The Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University hosts a MBA information session 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, in Room 3415 of Williamson Hall on the YSU campus. The Williamson MBA is designed with the working professional in mind, offering a 39-credit hour program with courses that are offered in a business-friendly, concentrated format meeting one evening a week, over no more than eight weeks.

YSU-Free Clinic partnership: ‘A huge opportunity’ to serve

The Midlothian Free Health Clinic has relocated to quarters on Wick Avenue bordering the YSU campus, creating new partnerships and service opportunities for YSU students and faculty alike. “The stars and the moon and everything else aligned to allow this to happen,” said Nancy Landgraff, professor and chair of YSU’s Department of Physical Therapy, describing the series of events that resulted in the move.
