Yana Flider, Jessica Marando, Alex McFarland, Fadi El Chammas, Nicholas Conti and Jimmy Garvin, all students from the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University, have been selected as John D. Beeghly Fellows for the 2016 Spring Semester. The John D. Beeghly Fellows program provides students with a paid fellowship working with the Ohio Small Business Development Center at YSU.

Individuals who want to earn a license as an Ohio real estate salesperson can begin coursework in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University.
Completion of four courses is required to take the state exam: Real Estate Law, Real Estate Principles and Practices, Real Estate Finance, and Real Estate Appraisal.

Spring is in the air as the Penguins' softball and baseball teams open their home seasons. The softball squad opens with a three-game series against Valparaiso at the softball field on campus at 3 p.m. Friday and a noon/2 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
