CCP students with a 3.5 overall high school GPA and a 26 or higher ACT composite score or SAT combined score of 1240 are eligible to participate in the College Credit Plus in Honors program.
College Credit Plus (CCP) is a dual-enrollment program administered by the Office of College Access and Transition at Youngstown State University. While enrolled in CCP, middle/high school students are eligible to receive high school and college credits. You can take courses at your high school, online, or on YSU’s campus.

The Metro Credit Educational Outreach Department provides access to the University experience through innovative programs and services using various delivery options both on and off-campus. Our programs enable students who are constrained by time or location to meet their educational goals in a supportive atmosphere while maintaining the academic standards for the course.
The Office of College Access and Transition (OCAT) serves middle, high school, and college students by enhancing their educational opportunities through programs that help prepare them for academic success and or provide early access to college courses before high school graduation.
