YSU Theatre and Dance launch "The Experience" for prospective students

Youngstown State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance is hosting several events called “The Experience” aimed at providing prospective students with admissions and audition information.

The first event is Friday, Oct. 19 beginning at 2 p.m. in Bliss Hall on the YSU campus. Attendees will participate in breakout sessions; take an afternoon class; meet faculty, staff and students; and tour facilities in Bliss Hall. All attendees will be offered complimentary tickets to the opening night performance occurring that night of University Theatre’s production of “The Addams Family.” High school seniors may audition for the pre-professional bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. 

Other “Experience” dates are Friday, Nov. 9, and Friday, Feb. 15, 2019. The events are free, but registration is required at ysu.edu/theater.
