YSU holds ServiceFest
YSU ServiceFest, an afternoon of service, inspiration and impact will be held 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the Chestnut Room, Kilcawley Center.
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, students, faculty and staff are invited to gather together to give back and make a difference.
A variety of service projects will be available to choose from, including making blankets for local charities, creating care packages and crafting pet toys for animals in need.
Attendees can donate canned goods or gently used clothing and receive a free YSU vintage T-shirt, while supplies last. Learn about community service opportunities, hear from inspiring speakers and enjoy music and snacks throughout the event.
YSU ServiceFest is sponsored by Student Activities; Sokolov Honors College; Office of Belonging, Empowerment, and Engagement; Office of the Dean of Students; Black Student Union; and Student Government.
