YSU chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma awards scholarship
falseThe Youngstown State University Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma awarded a scholarship to a team of students for winning the first annual Business Case Competition at the Williamson College of Business Administration.
The all-day event, co-sponsored by WCBA and Barnes and Noble, drew 14 teams consisting of 46 students. The $500 scholarship was won by the team of Dante DeLullo of Boardman, Gus Maglis of Campbell and Jeremy Hemmerle-Orlik of Hermitage, Pa.
The competition was organized by the team of Daniel Belinky of Boardman, chapter president; vice presidents Allison Conroy of Canfield and David Wilaj of Lowellville; along with members Samantha Anderson of Poland and Brandon Rivello of Austintown.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the world’s premier business honorary reserved exclusively for schools accredited by AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Founded in 1913, the society has more than 750,000 members representing all 50 states and 160 countries. The YSU chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma was installed in 2000 and has inducted 728 members.
