Master of Accountancy information session July 25
The Lariccia School of Accounting and Finance at Youngstown State University hosts an information session for the Master of Accountancy Program 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, in the Williamson College of Business Administration on campus.
The first class from the Master of Accountancy Program at YSU graduated in May.
The 30-semester hour program can be completed on a full- or part-time schedule in as little as two semesters. The program is designed for individuals with an undergraduate degree in Accounting or those who have completed required upper level coursework in Accounting.
The Master of Accountancy Program enables students to develop advanced knowledge of accounting and taxation; communicate clearly, logically, and persuasively; recognize and address ethical issues in a financial and business context; and utilize relevant information to support decision-making. The program allows students to earn 30 semester hours towards the 150 required to sit for the CPA exam, or help prepare them for the CMA exam.
