Dana horn studio recital scheduled for March 19

The Dana School of Music announces a recital by the Dana Horn Studio, directed by Dr. Stacie Mickens, at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19 in Bliss Recital Hall. The program is free and open to the public.

Students Alisha Moore, Samantha Nicholson, Noah Cline, Cheyenne Halderman, Sarah Schwenke, Brenden Gage, Laura Makara, Cari Hosey, and David Makara, horns, will be accompanied by Diane Yazvac and Jack Ciarniello.

They will perform solo pieces and one ensemble piece from composers James Beckel, Franz Strauss, Gilbert Vinter, Charles Gounod, Paul Dukas, Paul Hindemith, Lars-Erik Larsson, Nikolai Tcherepenin, Clément Janequin, Eric Ewazen and Lowell Shaw.

Parking is available in the M30 Wick Avenue parking deck via Walnut Street or the P32 surface lot (GPS address is 100 Wade Street, Youngstown OH 44502) for a nominal fee.
