Business college hosts accounting/auditing update Aug. 11
Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration hosts the Youngstown Accounting and Auditing Update 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11.
The seminar, led by Kurt G. Oestrecher, CPA, will be in Williamson Hall on campus.
Oestrecher has a decade of experience covering accounting and auditing services as a partner with Oestriecher and Company in Alexandria, La. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and currently serves on the Accounting and Review Services Committee, which issues the Statements and Standards for Accounting and Review Services. He functions in many capacities for the Louisiana Society of CPAs on its board and varying committees and is president-elect of the LCPA and past president of the Central Louisiana Chapter of Society of Louisiana CPAs.
Youngstown Accounting and Auditing Update covers new developments in accounting and auditing standards including advice on compliance with professional regulations. This comprehensive course covers relevant pronouncements, exposure drafts and other guidance recently issued in the accounting, auditing, review, and compilation arenas.
