27th Annual Summer Festival of the Arts call for artists

A call for artists for the 27th annual Summer Festival of the Arts has been announced.

Returning to the Youngstown State University campus July 12 and 13, 2025, artists of all mediums, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, textiles, jewelry and photography are encouraged to register for the event.

All entries will be juried based on originality, creativity, craftsmanship, and professionalism. Judging will also consider the expression of a unique vision and style and the mastery over the artist’s chosen medium. Artists are selected for festival participation by a jury of local artists.

The festival is open to emerging and established artists, and applications will be accepted through March 31, 2025.

There is a $35.00 application fee due at the time of registration. An Early Bird registration application fee of $25.00 is available now through February 28, 2025.
