Bio
I am Swati Sethi, a Senior Lecturer, at the Department of Psychological Science and Counseling. My teaching is centered around "Higher Expectations" both from myself and my students. I always try my best to put my students' needs and expectations central to my teaching preparations. In my role as a teacher and in my other roles too, I place a special emphasis on Emotional Intelligence. I believe teachers should be reflective practitioners, so what I teach, I try to apply or practice in my own life too.
If I am not teaching, I am busy with my life other crucial roles. I am a proud mom of three children (12th, 8th, and 3rd grader). Post covid, I found a love for tennis, and with a lot of practice and commitment, now I can proudly call myself an intermediate level player.
I would define myself a conscientious, and a self motivated individual.
My life mantra is "people will forget what you said, what you did, but they will never forget, how you made them feel".
