Bio

Richard Rogers is Associate Professor in Crimional Justice and teaches courses in statistics, research methods, terrorism, and management.

Research Interests

Rogers is principal investigator for the Frames of Misinformation, Extremism, and Conspiracism project, which tracks trends in social media and discussion forums. Rogers is also a co-PI for GuinFit, a cooperative agreement with the CDC that promotes nutrition and physical activity in the greater Youngstown area. There are other interests in applications of management theory, social problems especially related to health issues, and the historical sociology of American religious movements.
