Teaching Interests
I set my teaching objectives to equip students with the basic knowledge of the real business world and an analytical thinking process to help future business professionals solve real-business problems in a dynamic and complicated world. My courses in operations and supply chain management can stimulate a student in a way that enables them to make efficient and effective decisions. The analytical decision-making process plays a key role in untangling the problems logically and leads to innovative answers for seemingly unsolvable problems. I approach conceptual topics by linking them to contemporary real-business issues. In this regard, I believe that my rich experience as a business consultant has enhanced my teaching strengths. I worked as a management consultant for over 6 years. One of my notable teaching goals is to emphasize using Excel in my classes. My industry experience and observation of Excel's widespread use in real-world business settings stems from its data schemes' universality with other software and systems. Furthermore, Excel provides users with numerous analytical tools that are highly useful when analyzing a dataset. Hence, I want students to learn this critical tool of survival in the real world.
