Bio

Dana Sperry is an interdisciplinary digital media artist whose work spans multiple formats and mediums. His recent video work explores states of loneliness and isolation resulting from experiences that convey insignificance within a modern post-industrial society. He recently completed an audio walk connecting both physically and intellectually the 1877 Railroad Strike in Pittsburgh with tech offices for self-driving cars.

His has been exhibited/screened widely including New York, Chicago, Miami, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Spain, Brazil, India and Israel.

Sperry received a BA in philosophy as well as a BFA in studio art from Southern Methodist University. After studying at the Art Institute of Chicago, he received an MFA from Indiana University.
