Youngstown State University, through its website, collects non-personal information to improve functionality and content, and to monitor the site's performance. Examples include collecting information on browser type, operating system, Internet Service Provider (ISP), and geographic location (i.e., country, state, and city where user is connecting from). Data is used to provide answers to specific questions about the usage and performance of the web site or individual web pages.

Drupal

• Provide organization and design for the YSU Website.
• Meet with department staff to discuss web site organization, design, and strategy for new or redesign efforts.
• Provide support in terms of designing templates and providing for content organization layout in the campus content management system (i.e., Drupal).

Note: New training material is being procured in preparation for Drupal 10. Much of what is available through this blackboard course is still applicable, but may look different. For web editors intending to edit any content on academics.ysu.edu, you may find this CMS is already at Drupal 10.
