Youngstown State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance announces a Fall fundraising cabaret, Something Old, Something New, Something Dead, Something Boo, 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 in the Eleanor Beecher Flad Pavilion of the DeYor Performing Arts Center.
Advance tickets for the event are $25 per person and may be purchased by calling (330) 744-0264 or www.youngstownsymphony.com. Beer, wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks as well as Hors d'oeuvres will be available for purchase.
“All proceeds will be used to enrich our students’ undergraduate experience through travel and professional development; engaging guest artists and increasing the Department’s artistic and cultural impact in the area,” said Matthew Mazuroski, chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance. “This is a new opportunity and venue in which our students can perform and support the economic revitalization of downtown Youngstown."

Audience members will also get a sneak preview of the upcoming production of "Spring Awakening" by YSU's Department of Theatre & Dance. Interspersed throughout the evening will be a selection of monologues featuring a variety of student artists.
