YSU students place at international X-Culture Project
LeeAnn Harsha, a senior Marketing major from Lisbon, and James Delisio, a junior Business Administration major from Canfield, were on two of the 14 best teams of 1,118 teams, in the 2024 X-Culture Project during the fall semester.
Harsha was part of the My Better Batch Team and Delisio was part of the Vivavoce Team. Global teams with students from 135 universities and 32 countries completed projects for various business organizations.
“The X-Culture program and online team was a great experience. I enjoyed working with my team members on international collaboration and creating a successful project that allowed me to highlight my study area,” said Harsha.
Members of all finalist teams receive Best Team certificates and are invited to the upcoming X-Culture Symposium, which will be held in Finland this summer.
Business students in the Principles of International Business course have participated in X-Culture since 2018. X-Culture is a global project that immerses students and professionals in real-world cross-cultural collaboration. This hands-on business experience strengthens resumes, making participants more competitive in the worldwide job market.
