The session will include an overview of two premier programs in YSU’s STEM College - the YSU BaccMed Program and the Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program. Registration is required to receive a link to the event. More info, contact Emilie Brown, egbrown02@ysu.edu or 330-941-2884
YSU BaccMed is an accelerated pre-medical program with the goal of recruiting more physicians into primary care. Students pursue a Bachelor of Science in special Biology or Biochemistry pathways that satisfy all known medical school admission. While YSU-BaccMed students may apply to any medical school, YSU’s special partnerships with NEOMED and LECOM give YSU-BaccMed students unique opportunities for admission and scholarship support.
The YSU Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program targets Ohio residents interested in pursuing a STEMM major with the intent of increasing the number of STEMM graduates and the number who stay in Ohio for employment.
