YSU holds 72nd Annual Greek Sing

Youngstown State University’s sororities and fraternities are competing in the 72nd Annual Greek Sing competition 6 p.m., Saturday, April 12 in Stambaugh Auditorium.

Dating back to 1952, Greek Sing is an annual song-and-dance event featuring Greek organizations competing in group performances to showcase their talents, build community, and have fun.

This year’s theme is Word Play and our chapters will be performing selections from several different decades and genres. Each group had to pick one word that must be in the title of each song chosen for their medley. The event is open to the public, and admission is free.

This year’s competition has been once again generously sponsored by a YSU alumna who was a member of the Greek System during her undergraduate career. Shirley Wuslich, graduated from Struthers High School, and joined Alpha Omicron Pi as well as became a Sigma Phi Epsilon Little Sister.
