YSU History Robert W. Reeder I Distinguished Lecture In Nineteenth-Century History lecture series presents, Brian Matthew Jordan
The YSU History program’s Robert W. Reeder I Distinguished Lecture In Nineteenth-Century History lecture series will host Brian Matthew Jordan, associate professor of U.S. Civil War History and History Department chair for Sam Houston State University as he presents, Enduring Civil War: Life, Death, and Survival in America’s Defining Conflict at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor 6 p.m., April 18.
Jordan, an esteemed author, earned his undergraduate degree in Civil War Era Studies, as well as Master of Arts and PhD in History, all completed at Yale. He was a finalist for the 2016 Pulitzer Prize in History. Jordan currently resides in Houston, Texas but is an Akron, Ohio native.
This lecture will be free and open to the public, refreshments will be provided.
