The Y's Are Wild!
The YSU “Y” is popping up all around campus. From Fifth Avenue and the Eastbound Service Road to Beeghly Hall and Kilcawley House, nine large steel block-Y logos are being installed across the university. The seven-foot-tall Y’s were manufactured and donated by Boardman Steel, owned by Dave Deibel, former chair of the YSU Board of Trustees, and his wife, Holly. Locations are: Beeghly Hall, corner of Lincoln and Elm, between the softball and soccer fields along Fifth Avenue, the corner of Ford Street and the Eastbound Service Road of the Madison Avenue Expressway, the ticket office at Stambaugh Stadium, the entrance to the new M82 parking lot on the service road, Deibel Park (behind the Arms Museum), Kilcawley House and the northwest corner of Lincoln and Fifth avenues.
