Youngstown State University hosts Legal Ethics Refresh

Youngstown State University’s Dr. James Dale Ethics Center is co-sponsoring Legal Ethics Refresh, a continuing legal education seminar, 9 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. Friday, March 21.

The workshop will be in two parts, “The Lawyer’s Duty of Candor: Cases and capers leading to fines and failures” and “Choose Your Own Ethics Adventure: Spring Break 2025 Edition,” and will be held at Williamson Hall in Room 3422.

Heather Zirke will be the instructor for the seminar. She is the director of The Joseph G. Miller and William C. Becker Center for Professional Responsibility and an assistant professor of Law at the University of Akron School of Law. In addition, the course has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 2.5 Attorney Professional Conduct hours.

The event is also co-sponsored by the Community Foundation of Mahoning Valley.
