Youngstown CPE Day, a seminar designed to assist certified public accountants and accounting professionals working in business and industry, is scheduled for Thursday, May 26, in Williamson Hall at Youngstown State University.
The event, which will help CPEs with tax modifications, technology developments, A&A updates and ethics training, is offered by the Williamson College of Business Administration and cosponsored by the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Conference sessions include: EBPA: Enhancing Audit Quality; The “Path” Forward-What You Need To Know About a Permanent R&D Credit; CPAs in Industry: The Many Hats Worn in Publicly Traded Companies; The New Leases Standard: What It Means to You; ACA Reporting Forms 1094C and 1095C: What You Need to Know & How to Do It; Exploring Excel’s Data Analysis Functions; Compilation and Review; Current Federal Tax Update; Ethics (Professional Standards and Responsibilities – Ethical Shifts: Interpretation & Actions); Fraud; Sales & Use Tax Update; A&A Update; State & Local Tax Update; and Weighting the Advantages of Cloud Computing.

The Williamson College of Business Administration will be adding additional seminars and courses in 2016 as a part of a strategic initiative to bring high quality, in-demand professional development and continuing education programming to the region.
