The Williamson College of Business Administration and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants host the Youngstown Annual Tax Update 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17.
The seminar will take place in Williamson Hall at Youngstown State University, registration begins at 8 a.m.
Jeff Snyder, CPA, seminar presenter, is president of the J.C. Snyder Co., Inc., a professional accounting firm and Jeff Snyder, CPA, LLC, a tax compliance and planning firm and has over 33 years in the accounting profession. Since 1996, he is also a developer and presenter of continuing professional education for CPAs and other professionals. His presentations combine knowledge of accounting and tax concepts, along with real-life experiences into an energized teaching atmosphere that motivates students to excel in learning and understanding complex issues. Snyder consistently receives high evaluations from course participants and has a great enthusiasm for teaching and training. In 2015, he received the Surgent Outstanding Discussion Leader Award because of his consistently high evaluations for knowledge and presentation skills. He also received the James L. McCoy Discussion Leader of the Year Award from Surgent in 2016. Snyder is an alumnus of The Ohio State University, where he received his undergraduate training in accounting and economics.
The Youngstown Annual Tax Update provides opportunities for attendees to network with professionals in the field, eight hours of CPE for Ohio and Pennsylvania and eight hours of continuing education by the IRS for enrolled agents and tax preparers.
