Wednesday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 90 employers from local, regional, and national companies will attend YSU’s Fall 2016 Career Fair in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on campus.
Wednesday, Oct. 19 12:15 p.m. The Dana School of Music presents a free concert, “Octubafest,” in the Butler Institute of American Art, part of the weekly Music at Noon concert series.
Wednesday, Oct. 19, 5:10 p.m. Steven Rubin, associate professor of Art at Penn State University, who worked more than 20 years as a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer, lectures in the McDonough Museum of Art.
Wednesday, Oct. 19, 7 p.m. The Penguin soccer squad takes on Cleveland State at Farmers National Bank Field. Milwaukee then visits YSU Saturday, Oct. 22, for a 3 p.m. match.
Wednesday, Oct. 19, 7 p.m. “We the People 2.0,” a documentary film, will be screened in Cushwa Hall, Room B100. Free and open to the public. Part of the YSU Lecture Series on Energy and the Environment.
Thursday, Oct. 20, 7 p.m. Retired federal judge Nathaniel Jones, YSU alumnus and nationally-renowned attorney and Civil Rights advocate, presents a synopsis of his recently-published memoirs in the DeBartolo Stadium Club on the campus of Youngstown State University. Free and open to the public.
Friday, Oct. 21. YSU’s Human Resources Shadow Day, starts with a kick-off program with breakfast at 8 a.m. in the Williamson College of Business Administration Conference Center in Williamson Hall.
Friday, Oct. 21, 3 to 7 p.m. The Cleveland Cavalier’s NBA Championship Trophy visits YSU’s Kilcawley Center as part of a tour across the region leading to the team’s opening game of the season. Fans will have a free opportunity to snap a photo with the trophy using their own cameras.
Sunday, Oct. 23, 7:45 a.m. Zeta Tau Alpha presents the 16th annual Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic in Beeghly Center on campus. The cheer and dance exhibition has raised more than $1 million for breast cancer awareness.
