Robinson’s body of work ranges in scale from hand-built textile circuits to architectural-scale inflatable structures. He work has received several awards and honors. She is a founding member of Luminous Intervention, a Baltimore-based activist artist group, and is on the faculty in the Fiber Department at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Friday, Nov. 6. In celebration of its 25
th birthday, the McDonough Museum of Art at YSU presents a retrospective exhibition and auction featuring more than 100 works by artists from New York, Los Angeles, Cuba and beyond. The exhibit, titled
“GOTTA HAVE IT!”, concludes Nov. 6 with a benefit auction of the artwork, all of which was previously exhibited in the Museum’s galleries and has been donated for auction. The event opens at
6 p.m. with tapas and a cash bar, with the live auction starting at
7 p.m. Proceeds will go to the John J. McDonough Trust.
