School Psychology students earn 100% passage rate for seventh straight year
For the seventh consecutive year, YSU School Psychology graduates passed the Praxis II National Exam in School Psychology the first time out.
All 11 members of the 2021 graduating class in the Ed. S. School Psychology program at YSU passed the Praxis II National Exam in School Psychology on the first attempt – a 100 percent first time passage rate.
Dating to 2015, all YSU School Psychology graduates have passed the exam the first time out.
“Kudos to our candidates, the faculty and for the support that makes this good news possible,” said Richard VanVoorhis, program director, School Psychology Program.
Not only did all 2021 graduates pass, they passed with flying colors – 24 points higher than what is required for national certification/state licensure in School Psychology.
