Reading of the Names ceremony May 22
Youngstown State University holds its annual Reading of the Names ceremony, honoring YSU employees and students who died while on active military duty, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 22 at Veteran’s Plaza on the YSU campus.
The ceremony will feature the reading of 67 names of YSU faculty, staff and students in solemn remembrance and will include a presentation of colors, the national anthem, the reading of the names, chorus, a 21-gun salute and the playing of TAPS.
The Reading of the Names ceremony is free and open to the public. Veteran’s Plaza is on the southside of Beeghly Center on the YSU campus.
