New minor in Wellness starts this Fall at YSU

Youngstown State University’s Department of Human Performance and Exercise Science will begin offering a Minor area of study in Wellness starting this Fall semester. The 20- to 22-credit Minor, open to all undergraduate students, focuses on healthy living, physical fitness, healthy eating, stress reduction and injury prevention and treatment. Courses include nutrition, fitness, first aid/CPR, behavioral strategies, meditation, yoga, weight training, self-defense, cycling, community health, food and culture, and mindfulness.
