Meet the Employer Day connects students to employers at WCBA
Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University hosts the semi-annual WCBA Meet the Employers Day 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the atrium of Williamson Hall on the YSU campus.
Business students will have an opportunity to network with 64 different employers one-on-one to discuss their organizations. This event also provides employers the opportunity to identify talent for internships and full-time positions.
“Meet the Employers Day is an excellent way for students to network with business professionals and learn about the different companies and opportunities locally, regionally and nationally. Students have time to meet with employers and identify open internship and full-time job opportunities,” explained Christina Costello, director, WCBA Center for Career Management.
The WCBA Center for Career Management works with undergraduate and graduate students to develop their resumes, fine tune their interview skills, develop an internship/job search strategy and assist students in growing professionally. The office also works with WCBA alumni in developing a job search strategy and with employers to develop internships and post these internship and full-time opportunities in the career management database, Handshake. Employers interested in recruiting WCBA students should call 330-941-3660.
