The Department of Marketing in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University hosts Marketing Shadow Day Friday, Oct. 30.
The event will start with a breakfast 8:00 a.m. in the WCBA Conference Center in Williamson Hall on campus.
YSU students will partner with practicing business professionals from throughout the region in the disciplines of Marketing, Sales and Advertising/Public Relations. Shadow Day provides students the opportunity to work with practicing business professionals who volunteer to act as a “Mentor-for-a-Day.” Students will shadow business executives from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The goal is to further the student’s experience and develop well-prepared business leaders ready for the wide variety of Marketing career/PR opportunities available in today's competitive business world.
Robert M. Pavlik, keynote speaker and vice president at Quez Media Marketing, a marketing communication firm located in Hudson, Ohio, has extensive experiences in marketing, advertising and sales. His areas of expertise include product innovation, brand and relationship management, contract negotiation, direct marketing, profit/loss statement management and marketing research. Prior to joining Quez Media, Robert held positions at Bank of America, MBNA Corporation. Robert has a BS in advertising and Public Relations from Youngstown State University and a MBA from John Carroll University.
