Lecture Series on Energy and Environment resumes
The Youngstown State University Lecture Series on Energy and the Environment kicks off its sixth consecutive semester this week.
The lectures, sponsored in part by the James Dale Ethics Center, are 7 p.m. Wednesdays in Room B112 of Cushwa Hall on campus. The talks are free and open to the public.
Some of the lectures are live in person, others a live via Skype. Among the lectures are YSU Emeritus Biology Professor Lauren Schroeder, who talk about “The Saga of the Mahoning River,” and a talk about the new shrouded windmill on campus by Hazel Marie, chair of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
