"Ladies Day Out" alumni event set for July 9
A presentation on “What Feminism Means in 2017” is a featured part of “Ladies’ Day Out” 11 a.m. Sunday, July 9, in the atrium of the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University.
The event, sponsored by the YSU Office of Alumni Engagement, is for women alumni and friends and includes a champagne punch reception, a brunch buffet, artist door prizes and tours of Williamson Hall.
“What Feminism Means in 2017” will be presented by Cryshanna Jackson Leftwich, director of Women and Gender Studies and associate professor of Politics and International Relations at YSU.
The event concludes with shopping at the YSU Summer Festival of the Arts on the campus core.
