Kilcawley send-off community mural: A week of painting, music and memories
YSU Student Activities, YSU Department of Art and Penguin Productions will host a mural painting April 7 through the 11 as a celebration to bid farewell to Kilcawley Center before its two-year renovation.
The event will give the YSU community a chance to leave their mark on a temporary mural that reflects the legacy of the Center. Designed by YSU art students Lauren Barrett and Emma Strope-Downs, under the guidance of Dragana Crnjak, professor of art, the mural will be painted on the outside wall of Kilcawley Center, facing campus.
The campus community is invited to contribute anytime during the daily painting parties, with a special live music performance by Aairo on Thursday, April 10 as a sneak peek of the Federal Frenzy music and arts festival.
