Concert pianist Dana Kristina-Joi Morgan is the guest speaker and artist at Youngstown State University’s annual Diversity Leadership Recognition Celebration Thursday, March 31, in the Tyler Grand Ballroom of Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.Cocktails will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. Tickets are $35 and are available only at the Stambaugh Auditorium box office. She is a preferred pianist at several embassies, serves as an accompanist for the Washington Performing Arts, and has performed at the Masterclass and The Apollo Theater in New York. Dana also was a special performer in honor of Quincy Jones for the “Uncommon Height” Awards and Russell Simmons's inauguration party in Washington D.C.At the event, winners of the 2016 Diversity Leadership Recognition Awards will be announced.
