Dana School of Music open house Oct. 20

Students considering attending Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music are invited to a Fall Open House, 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, in Bliss Hall on campus. 

Students will meet professors and current students, sit in on vocal and instrumental ensemble rehearsals and attend classes and recitals. Students should bring their instruments as there may be time to participate in a variety of ensemble rehearsals.
 
“The Open House is one of the highlights of the fall semester,” Dana Director Randall Goldberg said. “After a one-year hiatus, we are thrilled to welcome aspiring musicians to Bliss Hall to experience life as a music major,” 
 
Representatives from YSU’s Offices of Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid, Sokolov Honors College and University Housing will also be present.
