Dana School of Music Open House Oct. 12

Individuals who are thinking of attending Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music are invited to attend the school’s Fall Open House on Oct. 12.

The Fall Open House is scheduled 8:30 a.m. in the lobby on Bliss Hall’s first floor.

Those in attendance will have a chance to experience a full day of interactions with current instructors and students, including rehearsals lectures. Attendees are encouraged to pack their musical instruments with them because they will have time to play along in rehearsals.

“The Dana School of Music has provided quality music education for almost 150 years, producing outstanding alumni in vocal, performance and music education,” said Randall Goldberg, Dana director. “We are very proud of our history and continuity of educating those who want to pursue music as their life’s work.”
