Business students excel at social media competition
A team of students from the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University qualified as a semi-finalist in the Ball State University Center for Advancement of Digital Marketing & Analytics Social Media Competition.
The next round of the competition is March 24 and 25 in Muncie, Indiana.
YSU team members include: William (Billy) Heath of Hubbard, Ohio; Caleb Anderson of Clarksburg, Ohio; Leila Farhan of Howland, Ohio; and Fierra Hueston of West Middlesex, Pa.
All four are members of the Eta Zeta Chapter of the national Pi Sigma Epsilon professional sales and marketing fraternity.
The Ball State University competition provides business students from around the country an opportunity to showcase critical thinking skills in the fast-paced, real-time world of social media through developing a strategic social media campaign and rebranding plan for an existing business-to-business (B2B) enterprise.
