Business College hosts Professional Development Summit Jan. 29

Business students in Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration with junior status or 60 hours of credit will be attending the semi-annual Professional Development Summit 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, in Williamson Hall.The semi-annual event is a half-day workshop focusing on topics related to career development and professionalism, including information on internships, global learning experiences, a question-and-answer session with employers, along with a networking luncheon with faculty.The YSU program also includes panel discussions with current student interns and workshops on appropriate business attire, how to develop a professional online presence, and how to enhance student leadership through networking.Students can register for the event by accessing the WCBA homepage at www.ysu.edu/wcba.
