Penn's Caves Day Trip

Saturday, April 12 | Departing YSU at 7:00am | Leaving from Campus Rec, Centre Hall, PA

Spend the day with the Adventure Rec Team touring Penn's Cave and Wildlife Park in Central PA. The tour is a guided boat tour through the only cave in PA on the National Historic Register. This is an all-water cave which means it can only be traversed by boat. The day will finish with a tour of the wildlife park. All transportation is provided for this trip.

Greek Sing

Saturday, April 12 | 6:00pm-9:00pm | Stambaugh Auditorium

Greek Sing is the annual song-and-dance event featuring the fraternities and sororities competing in group performances to showcase their talents, build community within their organizations, and to have fun! The 72nd annual competition is the culmination of all YSU Greek activities for the academic year. This year’s theme is Word Play and our chapters will be performing selections from several different decades and genres. Each group had to pick one word that must be in the title of each song chosen for their medley. The event is open to the public.

Join us for a Virtual Student Loan Repayment WebEx presented by Michael Jones from Citizens bank on Wednesday, April 16th at 1:00 pm. Presentation will cover Student Loan Repayment Plans, Loan Forgiveness Programs, Default Avoidance, Money Saving Strategies, and Borrower Rights and Responsibilities. All students are invited and graduating student loan borrowers are strongly encouraged to attend.

Warrior Awareness Training

Friday, April 18 | 11:00am-1:00pm | Veterans Center Classroom

The Office of Veterans Affairs will discuss military culture, the GI Bill, military mental health issues, and common hurdles and perceptions student veterans face when attending college. Training includes a student veteran panel and hot lunch. Participants receive a certificate, pin and magnet upon completion.

Audience: This training is designed for YSU Faculty, Advisors, Staff (and Grad students studying higher education).

Crafternoons at the Cove: Paint a Pot and Plant a Plant
