Youngstown State University’s Financial Aid Night is a community service event that provides helpful information to the parents of students in grades 11 and 12 planning to attend college. The program is being held just in time to prepare for YSU’s February 1st (and many other university’s) Free Application for Federal Student Aid priority filing deadlines.
what to expect at financial aid night:
- Presentation on the basics of applying for aid
- Meet our Financial Aid Counselors and ask them your questions
- Assistance with completion of the FAFSA — Please have your 2023 tax information available
- Students, and other contributors who will be completing the FAFSA, can create their FSA IDs at studentaid.gov prior to the event

Location & Parking
The Financial Aid Night will begin at 6:30 pm and will be located in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center.
Parking will be available free of charge in the Wick Avenue Parking Deck (M-30 Wick Avenue Parking Deck).
