Spring Group Fitness Classes

  • Group Fitness classes are FREE for YSU students and members of the Andrews Student Recreation & Wellness Center.
  • Registration is encouraged: Register at https://store.reccenter.ysu.edu/.

March 10th – April 25th

Monday:

Sunrise Yoga w/ Navya 9:00am – 10:00am
Strength Training (Small Group) w/ Jayce 12:15pm – 12:45pm
Power Yoga w/ Vanessa 5:30pm – 6:15pm

Tuesday:

Wellness Yoga w/ Olivia & Mason 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Cycling w/ Olivia 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Wednesday:

Full Body HIIT w/ Mike 1:15pm – 1:45pm
SPINNING w/ Gabe 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Thursday:

Zen Core w/ Vanessa 11:15am – 12:00pm
Team HIIT w/ Jayce 12:15pm - 12:45pm
SPINNING w/ Sal 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Friday:

Aerobic Conditioning w/ Grace 12:15pm – 12:45pm

Saturday:

SPINNING w/ Cornel 12:00pm – 1:00pm

 

Class Details:

  • SPINNING/Cycling: Indoor cycling class that helps build physical strength and increase cardio endurance. The class intensity is up to you, so all fitness levels will excel in the same class!
  • Sunrise Yoga: Is a unique style of yoga which focuses on physical postures, alignment, and mindful movement.
  • Wellness Yoga: Yoga flow that incorporates alignment, flexibility, and breathing techniques while listening to health and wellness tips.
  • Strength Training: 30-minute small group session combining intervals of work and rest using different strength training techniques.
  • Fully Body HIIT: Full body workout that incorporates strength and cardio. Great for all fitness levels!
  • Power Yoga: Dynamic flows that promote strength and endurance, while increasing body and mind awareness.
  • Zen Core: Yoga flows mixed with core strengthening techniques.
  • Team HIIT: High intensity full body workout, good for all fitness levels. Bring a friend or be paired with a partner to complete the workout together!
  • Aerobic Conditioning: 30-minute circuit-style workout to improve aerobic and muscular endurance!

Youngstown State University is a hosting site for the American Council on Exercise (ACE) & American College on Sports and Medicine (ACSM) Online Examinations. All examinations are offered in the Comprehensive Testing Center, located in Meshel Hall.
