The semi-annual event is a half-day series of panels focusing on topics related to career development and professionalism including information on building a professional portfolio, employer expectations, internships, leadership skills and opportunities, along with a networking luncheon with employers, alumni, and faculty. Students will have the opportunity to network with various employers and alumni who will serve on various panels throughout the day. Students register using Handshake. Sunday, February 23 – Beta Gamma Sigma Induction

Saturday, March 22 – YSU Students Suit Up at JC Penney
JCPenney at Southern Park Mall, Boardman, Ohio
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Students will receive up to a 50% discount on select men’s and women’s career dress apparel, shoes, and accessories by showing their YSU student ID. Suits, dresses, sport coats, dress pants, shoes, and accessories will be available for purchase to create that finished look for the next interview or new job. Standard advice given by mentors and managers is to dress for the job you want. Your professional image can set you apart from your coworkers. More companies are turning to business casual dress codes. Looking professional in a casual atmosphere takes the right look.
