Reports to:
Senate/Executive Committee
Charge:
The committee shall be responsible for making recommendations concerning policy governing academic events such as graduation ceremonies, honors convocations, and inaugural ceremonies. This committee will also develop a list of candidates to serve as macebearer for graduation ceremonies and like events.
Composition:
The committee shall be composed of at least one representative from each undergraduate college (and no more than two) of the University, 1-2 undergraduate students, and two representatives of the administration, all of whom shall be voting members.
Qualifications of faculty members:
Do not need to be Senate Members to represent college.

Means of Appointment:
With the creation of Governance committee, have membership appointed via that body rather than the senate chair as is current practice.
